Welcome to The International Hotel Awards
This global competition aims to identify the most outstanding working hotels and hospitality design in each region for a range of general and specialist categories.
The regions are Asia-Pacific, Arabia, Africa, Europe & UK, Caribbean, Canada, United States of America, and South & Central America. Finalists at regional level are further assessed against the other regional finalists to determine the overall World’s Best hotels.
The process culminates with the presentation of awards to winners at a gala dinner presentation and international networking event in London.
“I am confident that these prestigious honours will further enhance our hotels’ reputations, leading to further business and strong bookings in the future.”
Roger Parnow, Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, and Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach

Benefits of Entering
The Judging Process
Each hotel is required to complete a self-assessment qualification document and send us information for our panel’s scrutiny.
As we are looking exclusively for the very best, every aspect of your hotel will be taken into consideration including service, facilities, interior design and safety. The questions are extremely detailed and must be completed accurately. We ask whether the hotel would be willing to accept spot checks in order that our assessors can verify the information supplied. Those hotels that reach the necessary levels will be awarded the International Five Star Standard with the potential to win an International Hotel Award.
